Hmmmm what's the difference you might ask? Well here's how the dictionary defines them.

clean freak

adjective

Definition of clean freak:

a person who always wants things free from dirt or grime

neat freak

noun

Definition of neat freak:

a person who always wants things to be very orderly and clean

Are you one of these or both?

Truth is, unless I lived completely alone lol - {and how fun would that be?}- I can't have them both all the time, every day.

BUT having solutions set up in my home not only helps me, but helps my whole family. If you don't have a system in place, how can you expect your family to help you?

Bins, labels, and a home for everything will help you stay neat and tidy.

A weekly cleaning schedule will help your home stay clean.

Involve your kids in household chores.

Make it fun for them and you. Put on fun music and work alongside them. Teaching them these skills young can instill a life long habits.

Last Saturday I was spring cleaning my master bedroom and my granddaughter asked if she could help! She loved being part of my day. Having all my cleaning tools in one area was a great help too. I love this  caddy from The Container Store . It helps me stay organized because all my cleaning supplies live in one bin. It also helps me stay clean because when it's time to tackle the dirt, I have all the supplies I need. Win-Win.

My granddaughter is using this sponge cloth to wipe down all the window sills for me. She loved helping and we had a sweet time together.

Do you need a system in your home? I'm a message away! And I'd love to help you!

Ready to help you today, Lisa
