I’ve dubbed 2020 the year of the project! I’ve personally done so many projects in my own home as well as helping my clients tackle theirs. Here’s my latest project….

Most people consider the kitchen to be the heart of a home. It’s where you create life-giving food, and is a place where everyone is welcome! On many occasions, it even turns into a space for socializing with family and guests.

If you are like most people, you dread moving house. Not because you don’t want to move into a bigger home or apartment in a more beautiful part of town, but because of the hassle of moving. Sometimes, leaving your old home for a new one is inevitable and you have to do it, which makes it even harder.

Funny story, the day it was delivered my husband came home and said “that’s the new garage?”. He couldn’t believe that the entire garage was in this tightly wrapped package. How’s that for efficiency?

So many people want ideas on how to organize their fridge. They are tired of wasting food, forgetting about food (because it gets lost in the back), and not knowing exactly what they have in the fridge. I’m here to help you.

Well it seems the majority of us are all working from home now. For someone who goes into client’s homes for a living, working remotely from my own office has caused me to realize I needed to upgrade my working space.

We have a large family and one of our favorite past times is gathering around the table and playing board games. With four children (the oldest of which is twenty-one) you can imagine how these games accumulate. We would add one or two new games a year, and the next thing we knew they had taken over.

"Christmas is coming" my husband always says! When our kids were younger, whenever they would say they liked or wanted something he would say "Christmas is coming!" ...even if it was February 1st lol. But guess what? Christmas really is coming....and soon!

Whenever I show before and afters of pantries on my Instagram feed they get the most comments and likes. I love organizing pantries so much because I’ve always felt that the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s my happy place, and I want to make it yours too! We spend so much time in our kitchens through out the day that we need to make it a priority! You should love being in your space. I can help you make it pretty as well as functional.

I love supporting and lifting up other women in my industry. There are enough people and clients to go around. Kindness and support matter. This world can be an ugly place... but not on my watch. (not that I don't make mistakes because I do, but I want to do better)Who do you love to support and lift up? Start with yourself. Give yourself  grace and mercy. Then pass it on to others around you.

It's a state of being a lot of us are looking for.By definition "Balance" means 'an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady'. Naturally the ebb and flow of life causes the scales to tip slightly here and there but what if you can't get it back to even?I work with a lot of people who feel their life is completely off balance.

Ever wish you could sit down and have coffee with someone (or a room full of someones) who is totally non-judgey and knows exactly which manageable steps you should take next to get your life and home running smoothly?

For me, food prepping (preparing food ahead of time) is a way to keep my sanity during the busy school weeks. When we have food prepped and ready to go for lunches, dinners, snacks and breakfasts, we not only save time, we save money! I typically grocery shop on a Friday or Saturday and food prep on Sunday afternoons.

A few weeks ago, I helped my daughters get their kids' lunch box items all ready for back to school. School is around the corner here in Texas! PS Can I say how blessed we feel to have five of our eight grand babies here in McKinney with us!
