I’ve dubbed 2020 the year of the project! All this extra time at home has caused most of us to tackle all the undone “to do’s” on our lists.

Thanks to all the amazing products I find at The Container Store, I’ve organized all my pictures, reorganized my home office, made more room for food in my pantry , upgraded our garage, and redid my grandkids’ playroom.

My sister in law even guest blogged about how she organized her family’s board games. Whew, when I write it all out, I see it’s been one project after another…all while helping you, my in home, and virtual client’s get organized too.

And now that the holidays are here, {I’ve already shared my holiday wrapping station} , it’s time for me to tackle my china and holiday dishes. I’ve had the same covers for twenty five years, they are worn, have broken zippers, and are being held together by tape lol. Not good, especially for a professional organizer. Oops.

So, let me show you the products I’ve chosen for this project. Not only are they sturdy, but they are gorgeous too!

They come on a pack of four.

I started by taking inventory of all my plates, making sure they were all ok, not chipped or broken. Then I ordered enough of these plate organizer cases to fit all my plates. They each hold a set of twelve. I also grabbed these felt plate dividers to go between each plate to keep them safe. They come in a pack of 48!

Once I had all my plates secured, I moved onto the tea cups. This twill organizer fits most sizes of cups and mugs. My tea cups fit perfectly.

My Tiffany’s Dispenser is one of my faves.

Keep that special stemware safe.

This taller organizer holds stemware and my delicate barware. Special ones that we only bring out and use at the holidays. We might need to change that in 2021;-).

I used an extra plate organizer bin to wrap and store all my china accessories. These organizers come with labels too. At a glance you can see what is in each one. I used a pencil to create a marker so I knew how much room I had to write on each label.

And here they are all lined up nice and neat in my cupboards. OH! One more thing….Do you own real silver? Do you want to keep it tarnish free and ready to use? Then you need THIS ORGANIZER.

Ok friends, I checked another project off the list…hmmmm what can I work on next? Is there a project that you’ve wanted to tackle this year? Feels good to go room to room checking all the things off my list.

If you need help getting your projects done in the New Year, I’m currently booking ‘in home’ and ‘virtual consultations’ for 2021. I’m just a message away.

From my home to yours, have a wonderful and safe holiday! Let’s make some new memories this year.

Lisa
