I’ve dubbed 2020 the year of the project! I’ve personally done so many projects in my own home as well as helping my clients tackle theirs. Here’s my latest project….

Most people consider the kitchen to be the heart of a home. It’s where you create life-giving food, and is a place where everyone is welcome! On many occasions, it even turns into a space for socializing with family and guests.

So many people want ideas on how to organize their fridge. They are tired of wasting food, forgetting about food (because it gets lost in the back), and not knowing exactly what they have in the fridge. I’m here to help you.

I've always loved having an organized fridge. Let me tell you how I organize my fridge, saving time and money. The first thing I do when organizing my fridge is empty it all out. This is the best time to clean it and sort through all your leftovers and condiments. I usually do it when the fridge is running low of food.

I love organizing pantries so much because I’ve always felt that the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s my happy place, and I want to make it yours too! We spend so much time in our kitchens through out the day that we need to make it a priority! You should love being in your space. I can help you make it pretty as well as functional.

I love baskets.....said in my best Oprah voice!   I use them in every room, and for so many different things. Take this basket above from Home Goods. I used three of them in a pantry last week and you all went crazy for them! I love to get things up off the floor, and these worked perfectly to house all the to go cups, plates, and napkins!

For me, food prepping (preparing food ahead of time) is a way to keep my sanity during the busy school weeks. When we have food prepped and ready to go for lunches, dinners, snacks and breakfasts, we not only save time, we save money! I typically grocery shop on a Friday or Saturday and food prep on Sunday afternoons.

A few weeks ago, I helped my daughters get their kids' lunch box items all ready for back to school. School is around the corner here in Texas! PS Can I say how blessed we feel to have five of our eight grand babies here in McKinney with us!

March brings new life, and I like to bring new life into my home each spring with a total deep clean and purge!

Last Saturday I went to Ikea to do some client shopping for an upcoming project.I wasn't in the store two minutes before I became completely overwhelmed. Too many things and too many choices caused some major anxiety. I was glad I had my shopping list to keep focused.

I always have one main project that I like to accomplish during Spring Break. This year I'm tackling and organizing our garage! I cannot wait to show you the before and afters....we've started already, and it's turning out so well, we are almost there!! 

What does a professional organizer do when she has two days off in a row? She organizes her own pantry lol! It's very rare that I have two days off in a row at home, so I decided to take advantage and redo my pantry. It's been on my to-do list for a while now.
